Opposition to reveal Toowoomba water policy

The Queensland Opposition will unveil its water policy for Toowoomba today.

The Coalition has previously said it will not back the council's water recycling project should it be adopted by voters at this month's poll.

The Nationals' candidate for Toowoomba North, Lyle Shelton, says residents will be pleasantly surprised by the Coalition's policy.

"That will involve detailing other options for providing water and long-term and short-term supplies to this city and what we would do should we win government," he said.
