4350water joins International Bloggers' Day for Burma ...

Many readers will recall that, during the water debate, attempts were made to stifle the No campaign.

Toowoomba City Council sought the assistance of the State government in an attempt to shut down the blogs.

The 4350water blog received assistance on several fronts at that time, including Amnesty International's irrepressible.info campaign.

So it's appropriate to repay the help.

In another part of the world, free speech and human rights are being violated on a scale beyond the imagination of those involved in the Toowoomba water debate.

So, 4350water blog has joined the International Bloggers' Day for Burma on 4 October.

4350water blog, like thousands of other blogs around the world, will fall silent on 4 October with only the support banner being shown.
