Toowoomba bores - DNRW takes over ...

12 September 2007

The State Government will spend the next three months drilling bores around Toowoomba to see just how much water the city has underground.

The Department of Natural Resources is keen to see the sustainability of the water that might be the only available supply this time next year.

It certainly looks like D&R are telling Kevvie that they will take care of Toowoomba's water supply as he is not up to the task.

It amazes me that with all the rain that we have had and everything as green as can be - and three dams at different places giving water to the city - that we are told that our dams are always falling -Are we being lied to about that as well by our marvellous Councillors
