Not surprising about Turnbull. Before the last election, he was telling people that a vote for Malcolm wasn't a vote for Howard as he'd be going.

[Howard] said the leadership issue was resolved last year. "It is not in the party’s interest to revisit it now," he said.

"That is my position, my very strong position. I believe the next election will be very difficult for the Coalition but we can win it.

"And I hope that people understand from observing me in 30 odd years of public life that I have never run from a fight before and I don’t intend to do so now. "

Well done John - I do not like your being in favour of recycled water nor your war in Iraq - but you are more of a man than Rudd the Dud will ever be

I think Malcolm Turnbull should be very worried about his seat and leave John alone. The little Aussie battler will win through in the end.
The Australian Community will never accept Labour Party in power in the State and Federal sphere.

It's not on.

"There have been some suggestions that Mr Downer, Mr Turnbull, Mr Costello, have been behaving in some kind of disloyal fashion. They haven't,'' Mr Howard said.

"The discussions that ministers had occurred with my approval and my sanction.''
