SEQ recycled water - 30 second catch up ...

The Bligh government is running scared as its expensive recycled water PR campaign lies in tatters.

The Australian has publicised what many suspected - Barrier 1 of Anna Bligh's recycled water project is a farce.

The so-called voluntary barrier at sewer entrances doesn't work and Qld Health wants no responsibility for it.

Meanwhile the Bligh government has kept Qld Health in the dark on the health aspects of the recycled water project.

And now it emerges that Qld Health has no idea how much hospital waste is poured down the sewers.

Don't worry says the Bligh government - we'll pay someone $50 million to tell us.

Meanwhile we're still planning to pour recycled water into Wivenhoe dam early next year.

Don't worry that we have no idea about the amount of hospital waste going into the sewers or that Qld Health is kept in the dark on health issues or that Qld Health wants no responsibility for overseeing the sewers.

Trust us.

Have we ever stuffed up before ...

How can they do this? It's absolutely unbelievable. I want to wake up and find this terrible nightmare has ended. If I can't vote any other way - Ill vote with my feet - by moving my family away from Anna and her "sewage" water. I asked my mum what she thought and she replied "As I've not heard anything more about it, I thought that crazy plan had been dropped - I'm horrified to hear that it's still going ahead." - Isn't it about time the local newspapers of SEQ updated their readers on this issue?

Anna will try to keep it as secret as possible.
