CMC hands rape inquiry back to Queensland Health
August 06, 2008 12:00am
QUEENSLAND Health will investigate itself over events surrounding the alleged rape of a nurse, raising concerns over the probe's independence.
The Crime and Misconduct Commission has referred the case back to the department, despite alleged bungles involving top bureaucrats and even Health Minister Stephen Robertson.
The five-month probe centres on major failures surrounding the alleged rape of a nurse on Mabuiag Island in February, 16 months after a damning accommodation security report was completed and ignored.

Bet they give themselves a clean bill of health over this shocking event. When will the people of Queensland wake up to the fact that they are being continually treated like the village idiot by those in power?

And a very gullible or incredibly disinterested general public who are prepared to do lip service only when it comes to voting times.
The G.P. don't really give a dam out there, only when the screws start to hurt, they pull their heads up to check out the cause. It's so disappointing because there is so many avenues to check out information, there really no excuse as to why labour got in again here in Qld and Aust.
We deserve what we got.
