Toowoomba water main bursts ...

... and no-one turns it off for hours.

This occurred on Sunday morning and received airtime on Channel 9 news.

Apparently the police couldn't find anyone to turn off the water.

Where is the Toowoomba Regional Council on weekends ...

Kev Flanagan wasn't very impressed that the TV crews got there before his staff could get of bed.

That is the council's problem, they need to get in better systems to get staff on the job promptly.

They are good at charging us high rates and water charges.

I guess the council needed to find a supervisor before the staff could get on the job. That is the efficiency of this over managed council!

Kevin should get used to the fact that he is a public servant and is there to serve the public. He never seems to have understood that.
