Remembrance Day hijacked by the walkers against warming ...
Is it appropriate that environmentalists hijack Remembrance Day with their Walk Against Warming?
See - Courier Mail - Walk Against Warming.
Also see - Walk Against Warming website.
Couldn't have postponed it a day or a week?
Just a thought.
Then again - with Paris Hilton proudly shown on the Walk Against Warming website wearing a tshirt, who would really take them seriously ...

It is a bit hard to convince the people when we are all rugged up in our winter dressing gown and sipping hot coffee!
This is about the weather we have in the spring and the clouds are in the sky and every now and again they drop a bit of moisture. The experts say we are to expect big storms and maybe a cyclone or two later in the year.
The 30 year cycle is coming to an end and these loonies are running out of time to convince us the the shy is falling.
Remember chicken little!
Fancy using Paris Hilton to promot this as who on earth would believe her. She was the one who seemed to find God when it suited her while in prison.

This is the same Paris Hilton who leaves a massive carbon footprint everywhere she goes.
From driving on a suspended license in a gas guzzler to the massive mansion to plane hopping at a minute's notice to attend parties, this girl is actually the anti-christ of environmentalists.
So it's very odd that they put her in a t-shirt on their website.

Reasonable turn up of people to walk in Sydney. Lots of people booed Garrett who turned up to speak. Organisers tried to make excuses but people weren't happy with his backflips and stance on the Tasmanian pulp mill. Turnbull was a no-show.
