Toowoomba - towards 2050 ...

Does it make any sense to finalise the draft Toowoomba 2050 plan by February 2008 when the following month the Toowoomba City Council disappears forever to be replaced with the regional council?

Perhaps it should be the Toowoomba region 2050 plan.

See - Toowoomba 2050 timeline.

Just a thought ...

There seems a great rush for this lot to hang onto something they can call a success.
They are running out of time and they are unaware that the community is watch and waiting to put a new bunch in their place.

There was no public meeting where the general public could have an input. Yes we did get a chance to fill in a questionnaire and some people did but the majority of their information came from select groups they invited.

Of those who did answer the questionnaire they told them in no uncertain term that they did not want recycled sewage water and
now we have Cr Ramia talking about dams!!!!!
