Easter under Mayor Thorley's reign ...

As you sit and eat your Easter eggs this Easter, consider what life could be like with the recycled sewage plant up and running ...

Is it true that the councillors will be doing guided tours of Wetalla, to show all the believers where their new waters is really coming from.

That is if they have time in between their ratepayer funded overseas tours.

Maybe at $5 per person this will help offset their expenses. Tea & scones will be served at the end of the tours, if anybody can stomach them after the smells of Wetalla.

They have to get it to a poll and that could be a problem to our friend Mr Beattie. He would not want to fight an election with the reclaimed sewage water as an issue, would you Peter?

How do we have a poll(referendum) when the government dose NOT have the guidelines.
Can any-one tell us if this is legal?

It would have to be a highly conditional question for voters.

After watching 60 Minutes last night, I feel even more sickened about what TCC is proposing for Toowoomba. It is 20 years since Chernobyl happened, and it is a ghost town.

A lot of babies are being born premature and very under weight, and what is more disturbing is that a lot of children are brain damaged etc, and being left to rot in a home. What makes this so tragic is that it is a mistake of man.

Come on TCC don't put shit in our drinking water. We don't want a disaster like Chernobyl!

I could just picture Mayor Thorley swimming in one of those tanks and trying to pluck a glass of clean water out of it.
