Toowoomba Water Futures website presents only half the story ...
Why is it that the Toowoomba Water Futures website contains no reference to the following reports prepared for the Federal government in the past 5 months each of which states that further research is required on the health effects of recycled water:
- Report for the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry in June
- Parliamentary Research Report in August
- EPHC draft Guidelines in October
There is also the Senate Inquiry report from 2002.
Could it be that the Council doesn't want Toowoomba residents to read these reports?

Could it be that you're unsuccefully trying to start a witch hunt...

No, requesting that the Council disclose full facts to the people of Toowoomba could hardly be considered a witch hunt, successful or otherwise.

I agree this council needs to be accountable to us the ratepayers. You can't keep having meetings behind closed doors, and have the so called experts only talking to certain people behind closed doors.
What has the council to hide?
Go chase them, maybe they will finally be exposed!

There is need for transparency by the Council.
On the SBS program, the Mayor refused to answer whether she would run again at the next election.
My money is on her retiring and moving out of Toowoomba.
So she makes the people of Toowoomba drink recycled sewage and then moves somewhere where they don't drink the stuff.
