Broad statements are wonderful!
This time it's from
CH2M Hill which helped build part of Anna Bligh's water grid.
They seem to want people to know that they are responsible for keeping people alive in Australia.
CH2M Hill press release:
CH2M HILL, together with its alliance partner Laing O’Rourke, completed the design and construction of the Luggage Point Advanced Water Treatment Plant for the Queensland Government in Australia. One of the final phases of the Western Corridor Recycled Water Project -- the largest water recycling program in Australia -- the Luggage Point plant went online in October.
The plant uses state-of-the-art technologies to produce potable water and industrial cooling water from secondary treated wastewater.
With Brisbane dams at almost 60%, the area hardly seems 'water starved'.
Don't forget this was the same company which suggested to the Toowoomba City Council that one way of getting rid of the waste stream from the ill-fated recycled water project was to pipe it from Toowoomba to the sea.
With the latest gaffe, one wonders how much do they really know about Australia ...
