Recycled Danger
11 November 2008
There's a growing chorus of concern over the state government's decision to incorporate recycled water into the drinking supply in South East Queensland.
The National Health and Medical Research Council - which is responsible for establishing Australia's water standards - has warned the Bligh government it should not proceed with the plan.
The government has gone to great lengths defending the seven stage purification process it'll use in recycling water for use in the South East Grid.
The LNP only supports the use of recycled water in drinking supplies as a last resort.
