Memo to QWC - it ain't about the water stupid ...

There's an article in the Courier Mail today about Toowoomba linking to Wivenhoe and therefore drinking recycled water.

There's nothing new in the article. The pipeline isn't built. Toowoomba can rely on dam and GAB water until such time as it may be.

The timing is amusing given the outdated information in the article.

It's as if the QWC is poking the C-M to write a pipeline article to divert everyone's attention away from the recently raised concerns about hospital waste in the recycled water and the uncovering of the Bligh government lies about Barrier 1.

If that is the case, over in blogworld the 4350water bloggers are letting out a little chortle.

For the QWC has got it wrong again.

From Thorley on down, time and time again they have got it wrong.

From the early days when former Mayor Thorley said you can either drink recycled water or buy bottled water on to the QWC coverups about the hospital waste and other industrial nasties going into the recycled water and Qld Health's attempts to sidestep any responsibility for the stuff.

It's a mistake made then as made now.

It ain't about the water stupid ...
