... with the 2008 Toowoomba Regional Council election and much more to come.
Regularly read by all levels of government in Australia and many people in Toowoomba and the surrounding region. International readership on the increase as well.
No wonder the existing Councillors would do anything to shut down the blogs before the election next year ...

It looks like the Councillors and friends have been busy on the waterfutures blog and venting their spleen.

Not that it will do them any good. They must be worried.

Recycled sewage water for Toowoomba and Region is not on the agenda just ask the Premier as she has stated that we are not part of the S/E Qld. water grid. It cuts off at the bottom of the range.
What about all the rain the forecasters predict???

Just more desperate tactics from those connected to the failing five.

People in Toowoomba will not forgive Thorley for trying to force recycled water on them all the while planning her quick exit to Tasmania. She was never planning to drink it. She just wanted to be the first mayor in Australia to inflict it on a community and then she'd be gone. She can cry all she wants at functions but she will never be forgiven.

Is it possible that the comments from Water Futures been deliberatly
withdrawn because those same comments did not please certain persons? If so, what a shame. Still it won't change what the general public are thinking and feeling. It won't change the election outcome at all. If there was never another word spoken about the coming election, I believe it will not change the end results at all. They, the present councillors etc are gone, gone, and gone.
