Recycled Frontflip
27 November 2008
There's an increasing chance Queensland voters will head to the polls early next year, as the government attempts to negate the election shaping issue of recycled drinking water.
Despite being asked to re-consider its stance by the Premier, the Queensland Water Commission is unmoved.

Since when has the dubious Qld Water Commission been running this State? The Govt must really want this water to go into our drinking supplies but is hiding behind Elizabeth Nosworthy and her Committee so that they won't get the blame for it. In the minds of the people it is the Qld Govt who is making this dangerous decision
and they will go bigtime! It is not necessary to add this water to the dams as desalinated water wouold be quite acceptable, less expensive and not dangerousously unproved. The Govt must think the people of SoutH East Qld are stupid if they are trying to pull this stunt. At this stage nothing is any different to what they had before - recycled sewerage water into the dams at 40% by order of the Qld Water Commission, doing the bidding of the Govt - NOT INDEPENDENT. NO to drinking Recycled hospital waste, trade waste and human waste - NEVER.
