SEQ recycled water - 7 News phone poll shows 92% against recycled water in Wivenhoe ...

Qu: Do you agree with the government putting recycled water into Wivenhoe dam if the dam levels are above 40%?

Today, the Mornings programme is putting water in focus.

In particular, where we plan to get it from in the coming years.

And the issue of the new water grid, involving recycled and flouridated supply, will be up and running early next year.

And it's no less important today, despite rain falling across the city.

So what is the process of recycling waste water?

Field reporter Terri Begley visited one of Brisane's three advanced water treatment plants to get a closer look at the technology and how the seven step barrier system works.
