Maybe behind the scenes these politicians have already made a deal.
I think the plan is for the Federal Government to ram through the pipeline from the Clarence river and then there will be NO shortage of water. This will happen despite the protests from the NSW Premier.
ThE waiting period for Premier Beattie to come up with his figures is just a face saving exercise so at the end of the 30 days Malcom Turnbull ( Water spokesman) will announce that the pipeline from the Clarence is the most expedient way to bring water to S/E Qld.
The recycled sewage water will go to the power stations and for the moment we will be spared from being the experiment for this diobolical plan!!!
