Breaking news - desalination may affect reed grass ...

Channel 7 news last evening - the startling revelation that desalinated water may kill reed grasses. This is due to the RO salt waste stream being pumped back out to sea.

Perhaps it's better that we drink recycled water than trouble the poor reed grasses.
