Toowoomba City Council Councillor - "we're broke" ...

An interesting comment in today's Chronicle (page 7) by Councillor Sue Englart in response to a request for some funds by Toowoomba's Police Citizens Youth Club to fund their expansion.

Her response: "We're broke".

With the amount Mayor Thorley and the Toowoomba City Council wasted on the recycled sewage proposal plus the continued funding of her conferencing touring, it's no surprise that the Council is finding funding tight ...

The girls have not learnt how to budget and now we will all pay extra in the next rates account to cover their mismanagement!

Let's hope the new Councillor will ask about these trips away by the Mayor to promote the recycling sewage idea. This is the one that this community rejected.

Thorley will not take NO for an answer and is determined to punish this city and will not listen to any other idea to bring water to the people.

Thorley should stay home and work on the water problem in this city.
She is hell bent on getting it in some where.
The plan is DIRECT POTABLE USE for a town in Australia and she is the person leading the push.
